The Source of Love
Finding the love we all need

None of us can create love: we can only pass it along.

When we feel loved, we are loving; when we don't, we aren't.

If we can't manufacture love — and we can't — where does it come from?

I believe that love comes from God; all of it. I believe that God is the only source of love.

God's love is always being poured out to us indirectly, through others and through the natural world, but it can also come directly from Him to you.

When you get love directly from God, then you have more love in your life.

When we experience God's love directly, our resentments diminish. We find instead that we have extra love to give.

Giving more, we also receive more from those around us. (Not all cycles are vicious.)

How do we get God's love?

Not by doing the right things or by being "good". God already loves each one of us — right now, as we are.

We don't need to get God to love us. We need to get connected to Him so that we can experience His love.

We can come to experience God's love by honestly, humbly and patiently seeking to know Him.

God's love and His truth come hand in hand. If we seek to know the truth about Him, we will find His love.
